Val Bloom is a wonderful performer. She really knows how to engage an audience without patronising them, she uses her face so well to create interest on the greedy medium of the screen, she knows the whole poem off by heart (something I need to do more). I saw her perform years ago in full Jamaican costume, which was a breath of fresh air. This is a great resource as well as entertaining.
Brilliant. Great story-telling and delightful rhymes. And I’m hungry now, but not for a ………….!
